Weekly Update from Furrever Family Frenchies 🐾
Well, it's been an eventful week in the MooreHouse Pup Room! Our adorable Frenchie Babies have hit some exciting milestones, and we're thrilled to share the news with you. They are running and playing and getting into all of the things I knew they would get into, from exploring the toys we put in the playpen, to planning a coup to try to escape to the front room to drink from the milk factory. There is fun to be watched at MooreHouse this week.
First off...right out of the gate...lets talk food. The puppies have started eating solid food! We are deep in the process of trickling them off the breast milk. Mama Diva is screaming "Thank you Jesus!" I'm watching the little babies enjoy the pleasure of discovering their taste buds for the first time. Its a beautiful thing! Good food is so amazing! If you're new to our page and lives, you have no clue of just how good food can be. So Dad, (also known as Tank) is an excellent chef, cook, feeder, griller...the list can go on. Anyway, Dad is good at food. Dad is responsible for feeding the Frenchie babies now...that means we now have puppies that have "itis". You know that feeling of almost delirium you feel after eating a meal that is so delicious that all you can do is lean back and smile before drifting off into a deep food coma? Thats the "Dad itis."
Anybody who eats Dad's delicious food, has the "itis." It inevitable. For the puppies, he makes what I am assuming is a delicious mix of ground-up soft puppy food and warm broth. I'm gonna say its delicious because first of all, the puppies can not get enough of it. Then there was this time this week, my friend dropped me off and decided to come in and see the puppies and the first words out of their mouth was..."Something smells good in here!"
Dad replied with, "It's puppy food!" So yes, the puppies are eating good.
They've been transitioning smoothly from their mama's milk to this tasty new diet, and we're happy to report that everyone has a healthy appetite!
Our little Frenchie Babies are now running, and playing, gaining confidence as they explore their surroundings. We've begun the early stages of potty training by introducing a litter box, and it's going well! They're catching on quickly, and we're proud of their progress. Any potty in the box is great. We are celebrating each potty with excitment because we learned very quickly with our own Frenchie Babies that Frenchies are very sensitive to tone and eager to please.
So besides eating and pottying, our litter has discovered that they can actually chase the vacuum cleaner. It's too cute to watch. I'll have to capture some video for you. We believe in exposing our puppies to the normal sounds and activities of a home early on. This helps them become well-adjusted and not startled by everyday noises when they transition to their furrever homes.
Next week, we'll take another big step—our first venture outside! Stay tuned for more updates as our playful pups continue to grow and discover the world around them. We can't wait to share these moments with you! 🐶❤️
Oh, and someone better tell Little Drake that my head scarf is not to be played with. He's gonna learn early how serious black women are about their hair!
